Steven Bernard Hill, popularly known as Stevie B, is a legendary American singer, record producer, and songwriter. Starting his career in the late 80s, Stevie B made the freestyle music genre popular, mainly in Miami.

Beginning Of Career
Stevie B didn’t start his career in the music industry. Before becoming famous, he worked many odd jobs at fast food centres, car washing, etc. Despite the struggles, he didn’t give up on his dreams of becoming a music artist.
In the early 1980s, Stevie B started performing at local parties and clubs. He was loved for his excellent stage presence and vocal talent. Fast forward to 1987, he released his debut single “Party Your Body.” The song turned out to be an underground hit and helped him gain a lot of popularity.
Following the success of the track, Stevie B signed a contract with LMR Records, which was a pivotal moment in his career. This is when his professional music career started.
Stevie B’s breakthrough moment followed after the release of his second album, In My Eyes, in 1988. The album featured hit singles like I Wanna Be the One, and Spring Love, which helped him gain widespread recognition.
In 1990, he dropped his third studio album, Love & Emotion, which solidified his status as a global superstar. The album included his most famous track, Because I Love You, a ballad that ranked no.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Stevie B has always been a private person. He married twice and has five children from his two wives. He had two kids from his first wife, and three from his current wife, Paula Hill. In 2011, Stevie B was arrested in Springfield Massachusetts after his concert because of unpaid child support.
Stevie B’s primary source of income comes from his music career. He earns money from album sales, streaming, royalties, live performances, and tours. He also generates a good amount from music production and song writing for other artists.
