If you have just started using Snapchat and you seem to be confused about some of the features, including the “Snapchat Favorites Story”, you aren’t the only one.
Several fans have reported that while they find all the features on this social media networking app easy to understand, the Favorites feature has been a real trump card. Confused about how to use it and make the most out of this feature?
We will highlight all that you need to know about the Snapchat Favorites Story, its features, and how you can go around using the feature.

As the name suggests, the “Favorites” story includes a collection of all your favorite snaps and stories that you have saved on Snapchat.
In short, think of it like a “highlight” of all your favorite snaps that you have publicly shared with your friends and followers before. Under the Favorites tab, you can save all these snaps to either share with someone later or you can view them later at your convenience too.
The collection of the Favorites story is customizable, meaning that you can add more snaps to it from your Snapchat memories or you can add snaps from your friend’s stories as well. Once everything has been added and you are happy with the Favorites tab, you can then go ahead and share the same with your friends and followers.
If you are worried that someone else will be able to see your favorite story, that isn’t the case. No one will be able to directly access the Favorites story unless you share it with them.
However, there are certain factors that people have a lot of misinformation about, so we’d recommend that you avoid listening to those.
At this point, the Favorites Story remains anonymous and in your Memory section in your Snapchat profile. It can’t be accessed or viewed by anyone, irrespective of whether you have a private or a public Snapchat account.
Let’s say that you accidentally added a story to your Favorites folder on Snapchat. How do you remove it? Is it even possible for you to remove it?
Firstly, you have to find the Favorites folder under the Stories tab on Snapchat. From there, you’d have to select the particular story that you don’t want in that folder. When you long press that particular story, a few options will appear.
From the list, click on “Unfavorite Snap” and this should immediately remove the snap that you don’t want in the favorites list. That’s pretty much all you have to do.
The Favorites Story on Snapchat has gained a lot of traction in a short period. So, if you have been meaning to make the most out of this feature and also curate the best Snapchat experience for yourself, we hope this article gives you all the details that you potentially need. You can share the Favorites with your friends to make things more fun and engaging.
