There is no proper evidence to prove that people have died on Silverwood’s popular rollercoaster, Aftershock. However, approximately on June 25, 2021, news reports declared that there was a sudden mishap and it was stuck at 80%, half the way up the ride’s second tower.
Officials from the park thought that one of the coaster’s detectors experienced a communication failure, which caused the ride to halt. Additionally, the park reported that it took maintenance workers about 20 minutes to lower the ride to an evacuation place and free the riders.
Fortunately, there is no evidence of any injuries or casualties occurring during this sudden halt.
Even after all of the catastrophes, Silverwood Theme Park is still a well-liked travel destination. To ensure that disasters like these won’t occur again, the park has improved its safety protocols. As of right now, there hasn’t been any report of an accident within the section; safety is constantly maintained.
