In 1985, he became the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Eastland, Texas, which was a significant improvement in his career and helped him gain more popularity.
Fast forward to 2007, Jeffress became a senior pastor in the First Baptist Church in Dallas. Needless to say, the church flourished under his guidance and leadership. Besides his role as a senior pastor, Jeffress started gaining fame on various media platforms, including radio and television. His program, Pathway to Victory was aired on both mainstream and Christian channels, allowing him to reach a wider audience. Not only that, but Jeffress also authored several books, including Twilight’s Last Gleaming and Courageous.
