A former detention officer, drill instructor, and actor, Renard Spivey gained recognition for his role as a bailiff on Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez, a popular courtroom show.
At the same time, Spivey also worked with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department. However, he became widely known for a much more serious reason. Based on online records, Renard Spivey was born on 20th July 1956, in Texas, U.S. He grew up in an African-American household, where he was raised by his parents. However, it is not clear if Spivey has any siblings. Coming from a conservative background, he is a follower of Christianity and his star sign is Cancer.
As far as his education is concerned, he attended Paul Lawrence Dunbar Elementary School. Later, he enrolled at Houston Independent School. After that, he completed his graduation from the National University.
Renard Spivey had a progressive career before he got entangled in legal trouble. He worked as a model, actor, and producer. However, he gained recognition for his role as a bailiff on Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez.
In addition to his work on television, Spivey appeared in films like Dead of Knight, Married Men and Single Women, and Corruption.Gov.
However, his life took a tragic turn in July 2019 when he got into a heated argument with his wife and shot her at his home on Briscoe Street. Reports suggested that Patricia had concerns about Renard’s infidelity or steroid use that led to the incident.
Following his arrest, Renard was released on a $50,000 bond. Since then, he has stayed out of the public eye and is believed to be living a private life in Houston, Texas.
Talking about Renard Spivey’s personal life, he married three times. His first wife was Heather P. Spivey, who he tied the knot with in 1978 in Harris County, Texas. However, their marriage didn’t beyond a few years. After divorcing his first wife, Spivey married Debra Melrose Spivey in 1994. Once again, his marriage ended in divorce.
Fast forward to 2015, he married Patricia A. Marshall, his third wife. Despite being eleven years older than Patricia, they shared a great bond, until one day Spivey shot her to death. The couple also has a daughter named Patrina Marshall.
As of 2025, Renard Spivey’s net worth is approx. $300,000. He earned from multiple sources, which helped him built a decent fortune. Majority of his income came from his portrayal as a bailiff on the courtroom show. Besides that, he generated a good amount through films. Additionally, he served as a sheriff at Harris County Sheriff’s Department, which further added to his wealth.
