Realme GT Neo 6 SE To Debut With Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 Chipset

Realme, the renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has officially confirmed the launch of its latest model, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE, equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. The company teased the release of this new device in China, hinting at its exciting features.

Revealed through a Weibo post, Realme disclosed that the upcoming GT Neo 6 SE will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 7 series chip from Qualcomm. This announcement comes alongside speculations about the simultaneous launch of the Realme GT Neo 6, rumoured to boast the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, identified with the part number SM7675, will also serve as the powerhouse for the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V, scheduled for its debut in the Chinese market. However, Realme has yet to unveil the exact launch date for the GT Neo 6 SE, both in China and other key markets like India.

Regarded as the fastest model in the Snapdragon 7 series, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 promises excellent performance. Benchmarks indicate that it will feature a Cortex-X4 Prime core clocked at 2.8GHz, alongside four Cortex-A720 ‘performance’ cores at 2.61GHz. In addition to that it will have three ‘efficiency’ cores clocked at 1.9GHz.

It is worth noting that this mobile platform shares a similar architecture with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which was introduced in October 2023.

According to reports published earlier, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to sport a 1.5K LTPO OLED screen, similar to those seen in premium flagship smartphones. Reports also suggest a robust 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging facility.

Realme’s previous offering, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE, featured a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. The handset featured a triple back camera setup, including a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor. For display, the device boasted a 6.74-inch 1.5K screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also included a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front which garnered significant attention upon its release.

The company is anticipated to maintain the impressive 5,500mAh battery with a 100W wired charging facility for its successor, which is set to launch in China in the forthcoming weeks.
