PUBG Mobile to Get Revamped Erangel Map on September 8, Developers Confirm

As you already know PUBG is one of the massive hit games available out there. The game was originally launched for PC gamers. But after witnessing the craze for PUBG, the developers were convinced to launch a mobile version of the same.

The developers keep adding new features to PUBG Mobile to make it better and more interesting. Recently, the makers announced that they are going to add a “New Erangel” map in the mobile version of the game. The feature is going to arrive on the 8th of September. 

Along with the announcement of the new map, they also confirmed “The Dawn of a New Era” which is a community event where gamers can get the chance to win 30,000 UC. As of now, the name of the new Erangel map is not yet revealed, but we already have the release date on board.

PUBG Mobile tweeted the confirmation through their official Twitter handle and let the audience know that the new map is going to be launched on 8th September. The same news was announced in a press release as well. However, the new map is playable only in the beta version of the game. Last week, it was confirmed by the developers that the 1.0 update will introduce a new era to the mobile version of the game and it is going to be launched on 8th September.

Along with the new map news, the developers also confirmed about the Dawn of a New Era competition where the gamers can get the chance to win 30,000 UC. For this, gamers need to take clips and screenshots from the Erangel map. There are three categories including the screenshot on Erangel, Chicken Dinner memory, and Erangel video clip. In each of the categories, there will be three winners and every one of them will win UC rewards.

The beta version of the game gives access to the new Erangel map. It offers design elements and a new weapon. The 1.0 update which was confirmed last week provides improvements to the environments and characters. Not just that but it also provides improvements for gunfights. The good thing is that the new update has improved both lighting and texture quality. It has made the game more realistic. The water, sky, and vegetation, everything looks real.

There are many other changes to the map. For instance, they have added new elements like forgotten trenches, abandoned tanks, tree-trunk barriers, and bunkers. Important areas such as Mylta Power, Sosnovka Military Base, Mine Zone, Prison, Mansion, and others have received the rebalanced gear, loot, and many other resources. The new update also introduces Ultra-HD textures to the mobile version of the game.

All these new changes in the game will only make PUBG Mobile better and more interesting. Players are excited about the new map feature. But they will have to wait for one more week before 8th September arrives. The developers are determined to make the game the best.
