Motorola Edge 50 Pro Teasers Unveil Advanced AI Features

The tech community is excited about Motorola’s newest flagship smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which is set to launch on 3rd April 2024. Even before its launch, the Edge 50 Pro has garnered enough attention for its advanced array of AI-driven capabilities.

Teasers revealed by the company and a Flipkart listing gave us a sneak peek into the upcoming Edge 50 Pro and its features. Billed as an “AI phone,” speculations suggest it will incorporate sophisticated smart functionalities similar to those found in the Google Pixel 8 series.

The listing on Flipkart highlights the device’s AI capabilities, focusing on features like AI-powered wallpaper similar to the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Especially, the smartphone’s camera system is expected to be remarkable, with features such as Auto-focus tracking, AI photo enhancement, AI Adaptive Stabilization, and others.

Regarding the display, rumors indicate the Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED 1.5K display with up to 144Hz of refresh rate and 2000 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, it may boast the world’s first Pantone-validated display, ensuring exceptional color accuracy.

“Pantone-validated” might not be a familiar term to many, as it pertains to the method utilized by printers, artists, and manufacturers for easy color matching and selection. In the context of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, it signifies true-to-life colors both in the captured images and on screen.

For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary AI-powered Pro-Grade camera. At the same time, there’s anticipation for top-notch performance, with rumors indicating that the device will be driven by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Beyond official statements, a leak from Abhishek Yadav, a reputable tipster suggests that the phone will also include a 13MP ultrawide camera on the back.

As far as the battery life is concerned, the device is rumored to be equipped with a powerful 4500mAh battery with 50W wireless charging and 125W wired charging support. Furthermore, there’s speculation that the device might come with Android 14 pre-installed.

While some specifications are still uncertain, the official reveal of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro on 3rd April is expected to bring excitement and clarity to smartphone enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its launch.

As of now, there’s no worldwide price set for the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Nevertheless, we anticipate it to be relatively costly, given that the Motorola Edge 40 Pro launched at $800.
