In 2001, Tucker transitioned to the LSU Tigers as a defensive backs coach, where he reunited with Saban. Over the next few years, he continued to hone his skills and eventually moved to the NFL. Tucker served as the defensive backs coach from 2005 to 2007 for the Cleveland Browns.
