What To Expect In Masterpiece: Moonflowers Murders?
For those unversed, Moonflower Murders happens to be the second adaptation of Anthony Horowitz’s popular Susan Ryeland/Atticus Pund series. It continues the story where Magpie Murders left off.
Masterpiece: Moonflowers Murders follows Susan Ryeland, a book editor who has become a detective. She lives in Crete with Andreas, her boyfriend, and leads a peaceful life. Her happy life is disrupted when she gets tangled in a murder case from eight years ago.
The murder took place at a British country hotel. Alan Conway, Susan’s former author, wrote a novel inspired by the event. This novel convinced Cecily Treherne that the wrong person was imprisoned for the crime. However, Cecily disappears mysteriously and Susan has to find him using the clues hidden in Conway’s book.
