Kakegurui- Compulsive Gambler, is a Netflix anime series penned down by Homura Kawamoto and directed by Yuuichirou under the MAPPA animation house. Netflix introduced this famous show in the year 2018 and it continued till 2019. Though the first season was incredibly appreciated and valued by the Audience, everybody expected a season 2 of it, which started streaming in 2019, but sadly, the climax of season two was confusing to the audience. The Cast Of Kakegurui
1. Yumeko Javami
She is a mysterious transfer student at Hyakkaou Private Academy and is addicted to gambling. Her eyes glow red, with long straight black hair. She could easily deduce the cunningness of the other high-class students and turned their successes into failures. She never cared for the school’s rule and gambled just for the sake of it.
2. Mary Saotome
Mary was Yumeko’s classmate and was a top-rated gambler just like Yumeko, but she cares for her social status rather than enjoying the game like Yumeko. She aimed to become the Student Council’s President.
3. Ryota Suzui
She was a very poor gambler. He had a massive debt to Mary and served as her pet.
4. Kirari Momobami
She is the president of the student council. She made students with the highest debts into house pets who had to serve other students.
5. Rei Bastubami
She is a servant in the Momobami club who arranges for gambling and stays out of gambling herself.
The StoryLine Of Kakegurui
The story is set on Hyakkaou Private Academy where rules and modules are not as simple as a typical educational institution. They are based on the grounds of gambling. They master the students in the art of gambling. Those who win enjoy fame and authority, and those who fail are made slaves and named as pets to serve other students.
But, their world turned upside down, as a new student, Yumeko Javami, enters the scene. Her character is portrayed as a compulsive gambler, who gambles not to earn money and fame, but purely for the thrill of it. As she tries her hand on the gambling field, she gets renowned as a strong competition to her opponents. She exposes the cheating methods of upper-class students and teaches them the actual meaning of fight.
In Season 1, we found Yumeko being made a Pet by Yuriko, though it was for a short period of time as she succeeded in defeating her opponents. Season 2 showcases the closure of the Hyakkaou’s council by President Kirari Momobami and a search for a new winner has begun who will become her successor, and the addicted Gambler, Yumeko is in the race, without knowing that Mary Saotome was aiming for the same.

Kakegurui Season 3 :- Renewal!
Kakegurui – Compulsive gambler, a manga-adapted anime series consists of a total of 14 volumes, of which, 10 volumes have already been aired in Season 1 and Season 2 successively. Season 1 was liked a lot by the viewers, whereas, Season 2 was not very clear and there were many loopholes in it. So, we can expect a renewal of this episode soon.
But, there is still no declaration from either the online streaming partner or the MAPPA. Renewal of any series depends upon the popularity of that show and the available source of information.
