iPhone is always trying to come up with new features to impress users. With the rising competition in the smartphone market, the iPhone has finally up their game to keep their position in the market secure. There is news that the new iPhone 12 pro max will get the new “in-demand” feature.
At the starting of this week, there was news that iOS 14 beta 5 updates of iOS have said that the next iPhone models may have a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Tipster Jon Prosser has said that the iPhone 12 Pro Max may have a display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a LiDAR Scanner.
He also said that the screenshots are the production validation test or PVT model of the new iPhone 12 Pro Max. The phone will come with an option that will allow users to “Enable Adaptive Refresh Rate” and “Enable High Refresh Rate”. Once they enable the given options, the phone will change the refresh rate to 60 Hz from 120 Hz.
The next iOS version which is iOS 14 Beta 5 is most likely to have the ‘Limit Frame Rate’ feature. This is a new feature that is going to be added to the new ios update. This feature can be found in the ‘Motion’ section under the ‘Accessibility’ option in the Settings menu. With the help of this toggle, users can set the frame rate to 60fps, if they want to. This will give them a higher refresh rate.
In May, a report was issued by EveryThingApplePro that said that Max Weinbach from XDA Developers have claimed the new iPhone 12 Pro group of phones will have a 120Hz refresh rate. Later, Ross Young who is the CEO and founder of Display Supply chain Consultants tweeted that the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will have a 120Hz refresh rate.
Apple is trying every bit to give the users a better iPhone user experience. By increasing the refresh rate from 60hz to 120hz they have brought in a great improvement for the upcoming iPhone series. Given the fact that Apple has failed to show any impressive innovations in their iPhones in the last couple of years, they are not leaving anything to chance this time. iPhone 12 series is expected to be great with lots of features and a higher refresh rate of course.
