The type of anime you should not really share with your parents is “Gleipnir.” Its name and conception are both peculiar. Despite the fact that it is a “naughty” anime, the message is different. The idea is that its chock full of bizarre things and Cronenberg-style body horror. Nevertheless, like Anime News Network notes in its assessment, all of that filth is fascinating in its own right.
Approximately six chapters of the manga were used to create the first series of Gleiphir. Additionally, the first episode of the series diverged from much of the manga, which disappointed many. The manga currently has 10 volumes in total. That implies that the upcoming season won’t be short of things to accomplish. The author and illustrator Sun Takeda originally created “Gleipnir” as a manga.
There are depths to the tale and characters that are uncommon in family-friendly animation. But it’s difficult to predict if the following chapter will continue where the previous one ended or if it will introduce fresh manga twists and action.
There would be more lethal encounters between Kaito, the antagonist the viewers first met in episode 13, & Shuchi and Claire. It would be difficult to fight Kaito & his army because they have the ability to reanimate. Watch this space to see where the narrative goes from here.
Even if you never anticipate what will occur next in the tale, the best part about season 2 is that you virtually always understand what to expect regarding other things. Fortunately, the cast is usually always one of those things. Fans of “Gleipnir” should therefore not be overly concerned about significant casting changes.
Even so, people can expect to see Natsuki Hanae and Nao Touyama assume the role of Shuuichi & Clair, respectively, or perhaps even don their flesh suits. The other characters in the novel also have this trait. Takahiro Sakurai will likely continue to portray Alien, the sibylline-made monster that resides in vending machines. The idea that Kana Hanzawa would continue to portray Elena, Clair’s sister, once the show is over may interest viewers more.
The rest of the “Gleipnir” cast, aside from any new characters, is likely to remain the same after that. The “Gleipnir” manga isn’t the world’s longest work, but it is a touch more advanced than the anime version & likely features a few additional characters.
Although Gleipnir has not yet been formally confirmed for a second season, if it is, it will likely premiere in the latter half of 2023. The production of a new season normally takes somewhere between two years, with Season 1 lasting from April 5, 2020, to June 28, 2020.
Readers should remember that these are merely rumors because there haven’t been any formal announcements yet. Watch this area, though, as we’ll amend it as soon as we learn something official. Within the upcoming months, the news should be released.
