Jirou Yakuin is an introverted boy who secretly loves his childhood friend, Shiori Sakurazaka. He hopes to be paired with her for the couple practical, but instead, he is paired with Akari Watanabe, a popular and outgoing girl.
Even Akari seems to be in love with someone else named Minami but is paired with Jirou instead. While Jirou and Akari aren’t happy to be paired together, they soon find each other’s company pleasant and even learn a lot from each other’s presence.
Despite developing feelings for each other eventually, we witness how Akari and Jirou struggle to confess those feelings and get their emotions out there.
