George Albert Stone III aka EST Gee was born on 11th May 1994, in Louisville, Kentucky. He grew up in the Southside area of the city, which was marked by poverty, crime, and violence. His parents are Sheila and George Stone.
After finishing high school at St. Xavier in 2012, he attended Indiana State University, where he studied communications. After spending two years there, he transferred to Sac City College. Sometimes later, he took another transfer and joined Stephen F. Austin University. Despite changing colleges multiple times, he dropped out in 2016.
EST Gee’s music career began in 2017 when he started uploading songs on platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube. At the time, he went by the stage name “Big Gee” before settling on EST Gee.
His early music contained raw, street-inspired lyrics, which helped him gain a loyal following. However, it wasn’t until 2019 that he started gaining broader attention. In the same year, EST Gee released two mixtapes, including Die Bloody and El Toro. This helped him grab the attention of a wider audience.
