Eli Tomac was born on 14th November 1992, in Cortez, Colorado. His father, John Tomac was a professional mountain bike racer, who has been a constant support for his son. Growing up in a family with a strong sporting background, Tomac was grew undoubtedly inspired to enter motorsports.
From a young age, Tomac was passionate about two wheels. He started riding dirt bikes when he was just a toddler and entered his first competition at the age of 15. It was his father who helped him develop his skills and become a professional rider as an adult.

Eli Tomac’s professional career began in 2010 when he joined the Geico Honda team to compete in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
