Alfonso Cuaron is making his way back to television with a brand-new series, Disclaimer. It is a psychological thriller featuring Kevin Kline and Cate Blanchett.
This limited series is adapted from Renee Knight’s bestselling novel of the same name. The story centres on Catherine Ravenscroft, a renowned journalist known for exposing the wrongdoings of others.
Based on the series’ description, Catherine’s life takes a dark turn when she receives a book from an unknown author and finds out that she is the protagonist in a tale that reveals her deepest secrets. As she tries to uncover the identity of the writer, she must confront her past before it jeopardizes her life and her relationships with her husband and son.

When Is Disclaimer Releasing?
Apple TV+ has already shared the first look of the series and also announced the release date. The show is set to premiere on 11th October 2024, on the platform.
Just to be clear, Disclaimer is a limited series, meaning it will have no more seasons in the future. That is, of course, the makers decide otherwise. As per reports, the show will have a total of seven episodes and the first two episodes will be released together. As for the remaining episodes, they will be dropped every Friday until 15th November 2024.

As the voiceover plays, the show’s title appears in a superimposed style, and scenes from the series are shown in the background as the title slides in.
