The main focus of this crime drama series will follow Jack van Doorn, the founder of the coffee shop empire Jackal. With a foreground as clean, there is an ongoing onslaught of a career that is filled with criminals, rivals, and the complexities of Dutch regulations.
However, while things seem to be going pretty smoothly, things take a turn for the worse when Doorn’s affair with a journalist is made public. During that, he comes to realise that a lot of the vulnerabilities and the secrets of his career that he thought he hid well were elaborately known by his former wife, Betty, who was a former pop star herself.
As you progress through the show, we get a look into the rage that has built up inside Betty and the quest she is on to destroy everything that Doorn holds dear. Whether Betty manages to make that possible and how she does that is what will be unveiled on the show. What kind of secrets does Betty know that could potentially damage the career that Doorn has built for himself.
