Microsoft recently launched its latest business-oriented devices, the Surface Laptop 6 and the Surface Pro 10, on 21st March. These new additions to the Surface lineup have been hailed as the first-ever Surface AI PCs designed for businesses by the company.
These devices, designed specifically for Microsoft’s commercial clientele, will not be available for direct consumer purchase. While maintaining the sleek design of their predecessors, both the Surface Laptop 6 and the Surface Pro 10 boast cutting-edge features including the latest Intel Core Ultra chipsets, a dedicated Copilot key, and advanced Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capabilities.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 10 is priced starting at $1,199 for the base model featuring 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 5 chipset. The top-tier variant, sporting 1TB of storage and 64GB of RAM, and the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, commands a price of $2,799.
Similarly, the Surface Laptop 6 also starts at $1,199 for the base configuration, featuring 256GB of storage, Intel Core Ultra 5 SoC, and 8GB of RAM. The highest-spec variant, with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 1TB of storage, and 64GB of RAM, is priced at $299.
Both the devices are available in Platinum and Black color options and can be ordered via Microsoft’s commercial store, with shipping commencing on 9th April.
The Surface Pro 10 boasts a 13-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It comes with a display that Microsoft claims is 33 percent brighter with an anti-reflective coating. Powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 165U and Core Ultra 5 135U processors, coupled with Intel AI Boost NPU, the device supports up to 1TB Gen 4 SSD of storage, and 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
For audio and video calling, it includes a front-facing webcam with a 114-degree ultrawide 1440p sensor, supporting AI-powered Windows Studio Effects. As for connectivity options, the device includes Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, two USB Type-C ports, NFC, and a Surface Connect port.

The Surface Laptop 6 comes in 15-inch and 13.5-inch variants, both featuring IPS LCD touchscreen panels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with anti-reflective coatings. Powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 165U and Core Ultra 5 135U processors, with up to 1TB Gen 4 SSD of storage and 64GB LPDDR5X RAM, the laptop also boasts a new NPU.
The 13.5-inch variant includes one USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, one USB Type-A 3.1 port, and the Surface Connect. The 15-inch variant adds USB-C port, while select models offer a built-in smartcard reader.
