Been wanting to splurge on a new smartphone in 2024? Well, your wait for the brand new Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro will be over pretty soon.
Latest reports suggest that the two flagship smartphones will be launched in March 2024. The brand or its official representatives have not revealed the actual date yet, so it is currently a waiting game.
Both of these foldable smartphones are rumored to be beasts in terms of performance and productivity. The Pro version feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset while the standard Fold X3 will be integrated with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Weibo, known for being a rumor powerhouse, hinted at the possibility of X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro being released on March 26, 2024. It would be interesting to see how things pan out based on these rumors. Speculation also indicates that these smartphones will be available in black-and-white variants initially.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro
The pro model in this new series, the Vivo X Fold3 is reportedly going to live up to the hype and the wait of the consumers. It will feature the staple yet responsive LTPO internal secret screen, offering 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
As for performance, the smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is set to offer extensive productivity like no other. It will also feature a sleeker and thinner design alongside an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Vivo phones are known for their cameras, and the X Fold3 is no different, with its 50 MP OIS-enabled rear camera and staple ultra-wide design.

Compared to the pro model, the base model of the X Fold3 will feature a sleek camera design with ZEISS branding. Not just that, the model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is an improvement from the previous version.
As for the design, the book like foldable design will be a premium look to the design. Also, it comes with a 50MP rear camera or an even better 64 MP periscope telephoto camera. It would be interesting to see how things pan out in the future.
