Online video and entertainment company VeNA is tapping into new Asia Pacific revenue streams from the US market and has formed an alliance with Prohaska Consulting and its principal Matt Prohaska to drive the new growth strategy.
James Zipeure, VeNA’s chief operating officer, said the new arrangement was designed to help manage the strategy, implementation and growth for VeNA in helping US-based businesses more effectively manage their online video investments and inventory across Asia Pacific, the world’s fastest growing digital market.
“Matt Prohaska has more than 20 years experience in linear television, digital video, online media and advertising technology and is highly respected in the US-based digital marketing industry,” said Zipeure. “Having Matt on the ground in the US to work personally with technology partners, publishers, agencies, and marketers to access VeNA’s Asia Pacific capabilities will provide a more seamless and effective system for companies to drive their own growth plans in Asia Pacific.”
Prior to starting his own business, Prohaska was senior vice president, Media and Data Solutions for [x+1], a leading digital marketing firm specializing in audience targeting, analytics, and website optimization. Prior to that he was CEO, North America at video ad network Smartclip (sold in 2011 to Adconion). He also spent three years at AOL leading a 160-person sales team in account management working with major North American advertisers handling more than $1 billion in total annual revenue.
Prohaska said: “I have seen VeNA as a global industry leader in this space, making major inroads in Asia’s Pacific’s accelerating market. The business already has solid visibility in the US, and we are excited to help them find new partners here to assist with their APAC build-outs in digital video.”
