Shanghai - GroupM China is pleased to announce a senior appointment in its trading unit.
Sara Si, currently Vice President, GroupM China, has been promoted to President, Media Management, GroupM Trading, China, with immediate effect. She will oversee trading across all media.
“After more than 15 years with the Group, Sara comes to our trading unit with extensive media knowledge, agency experience and industry connections. She will greatly enhance our trading capability and drive integration of all media channels within our trading unit. Her proven record of strong leadership and business sense will bring even better efficiencies and expertise in our trading,” said Bessie Lee, CEO, GroupM China.
At the same time, Tony Chen will relinquish his media management role in GroupM Trading to focus solely on his other remit as President, GroupM Interaction, with additional duties to oversee the strategic operations of mJoule, the mobile marketing unit of GroupM China and other new digital ventures and initiatives.
Based in Shanghai, Sara reports to Bessie Lee and Wanjun Jin, Chairman, GroupM Trading, China.
