Australia’s largest online community sporting network, SportingPulse, has just announced the appointment of Mr Vaughan Belhamine to the new role of Sales & Marketing Director.
Mr Belhamine has a track record of driving outstanding results, evident in his most recent role as Head of Media at Realestate.com.au where he shaped the commercial success of the business.
SportingPulse Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Mr Nick Maywald said he was thrilled to have Mr Belhamine on board. “Vaughan comes to SportingPulse following an extremely successful stint in an executive role at Realestate.com.au and as a recent Board member of the IAB Australia.
He is one of the most experienced digital executives in the country and as an active contributor to his own local sporting community, he not only understands the commercial and business opportunities, but also the intricacies and challenges of community sport.”
Mr Belhamine said, “I am really looking forward to working with the SportingPulse team and the significant grassroots sporting community it has established, to deliver outstanding digital marketing opportunities.”
This coincides with the appointment of Mr Mark Wells into the role of Commercial Director, New Business.
Mr Maywald said, “Mark has excellent commercial experience across a wide range of media. Having spent the last seven months with SportingPulse in an interim capacity, we are thrilled he has now taken on a more permanent role. Mark has already displayed exceptional ability to drive growth opportunities for this business and I am excited he will now be leading this key business function for us.”
SportingPulse has become one of the most popular sporting networks in the country, providing a platform for local sporting communities to access information and advice regarding their sport.
