Singapore: Following the announcement of Rosemary Lising’s appointment last week as Regional Managing Director of Search, GMIO, Sean O’Brien, CEO Carat Asia Pacific has today announced the appointment of Lee Walsh as Regional Managing Director, Digital Media GMIO (General Motors International Operations). This appointment is effective immediately.
Before joining the GMIO central business team at Carat, Lee had been with neo@ogilvy Australia since 2007, joining as Group Account Director before being appointed Digital Director and then Head of Digital Media Operations. Lee achieved a 120% year on year revenue growth within the first year of assuming this role.
Prior to this Lee was with Zenith Optimedia as Digital Account Director, responsible for leading the online strategy fo the News Digital Media portfolio of websites including, news.com.au, carsguide.com.au, True Local and CareerOne.
With over 14 years experience in the industry, Lee has worked in the UK, China and Australia.
In his new position Lee will lead the Digital Media expansion across GMIO in partnership with an established senior ledership team at Carat, iProspect’s Search & Performance marketing teams, and the global Digital leadership group in Detroit
