MagnaGlobal Names Gurpreet Singh APAC Trading Head
Singapore – MAGNAGLOBAL, the worldwide media negotiation and intelligence unit of IPG Mediabrands, today announced it has appointed Gurpreet Singh to drive superior buying performance of current and potential clients across the Asia Pacific region.
In the newly appointed role as Head of Trading and Accountability, Singh will report to Chris Williams, President, Investment, MAGNAGLOBAL. Singh was previously General Manager, IPG Mediabrands Malaysia.
Tim Spengler, Worldwide CEO of MAGNAGLOBAL, recently appointed new leaders in the U.S. and Latin America, and has implemented other key organizational changes designed to continue MAGNAGLOBAL’s world leadership in media negotiation, intelligence and innovative marketing solutions.
According to Spengler: “Gurpreet’s wealth of experience is something that our network will really benefit from. His focus on clients, driving innovative solutions and working in a transparent way match the core values of MAGNA perfectly. He will be responsible for driving results for our clients on the Investment side and also help publicize and roll-out our Intelligence practice.”
Singh has more than 16 years of rich experience in strategic media planning, media buying and productivity management across various advertising and media agencies in India and Malaysia. Prior to his new role, Gurpreet worked in a range of positions at Mediabrands Malaysia, including most recently General Manager. Throughout his career, Singh has worked on major brands including Nestle, Hewlett Packard, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Sony Pictures and Microsoft.
Singh's many years of experience across the areas of advertising and media have been marked by a powerful combination of strong analytical skills and a thoughtful creative approach. Working across Asia has armed him with a wealth of experience in understanding different audiences and markets across the region, which he will leverage in his new position.
