Tokyo – CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, has expanded its partnership in Japan with a new deal starting 1 July 2012. The arrangement will see Nikkei-CNBC representing CNBC for advertising out of Japan onto CNBC’s global broadcast network in the U.S, Asia, EMEA and on CNBC’s digital properties including CNBC.com and mobile apps. Nikkei-CNBC will develop advertising opportunities in Japan for clients who would like to connect with business decision makers across a range of industry sectors via CNBC’s global platform.
Nikkei-CNBC is a business and financial news television channel broadcast in Japan. Its parent company, Nikkei Inc., is the primary source of business information for top executives and decision-makers in Japan. Its flagship newspaper, The Nikkei, is the world's largest business daily with a circulation of over 3 million, combining both incisive articles on economics, business, finance and politics with first-rate reporting on social affairs, cultural events and sports.
